Over 60% of website traffic now comes via mobile devices. That means your customers are on the go, and your brand should be too! Any major brand or company that isn’t following a “mobile FIRST” philosophy will be left behind by search engines, resulting in dramatically less traffic and conversions.
Your website should be created dynamically, meaning it changes its layout and structure according to the size of the screen it’s being viewed on. Your customers will be able to reach you easily from their cellphones/tablets, and your rankings will rise on Google as a result.
Did you know that most agencies don't consider Search Engine Optimization (SEO) when building a new website? It's one of the biggest mistakes, that unfortunately we see all to often. If you have a website that already brings in traffic from Google, you need to be able to keep that traffic once your new website is launched.
The digital ecosystem of today leaves room open for anyone to achieve their goals online. Whether you have a custom website design plan to be made from scratch, or an already existing website in need of updates, we can help! We can create or take your digital assets, establish your goals and work with you to achieve them.
Everyone does things a little differently to anyone else. We have our own process for creating websites that ensures that your website comes out exactly as you want it. Check out our process below, and how we can take your website to new heights. Gain a beautiful website that converts and gets you new customers.
We’ll meet with you, either in person, or in an online meeting and we’ll discuss your website requirements. We discuss every aspect of your project up front, so there are never any nasty surprises.
We take a look at your brand, and ensure that there’s something solid to build off of. If not, we will help you to develop your brand to ensure that your website design is consistent with every other aspect of your business.
Once we’ve ensured that your brand is good, we design mockups of your website’s home page and any other pages that are crucial. We review the mockups with you, take in your feedback and make any edits you’d like.
We develop the “foundation” of your website. That normally involves creating the header, main navigation, homepage and a footer. At this point we’ll review the web design with you again, to ensure we’re still heading in the right direction.
In this stage we complete the rest of your website. We come to you one more time to get feedback and make any edits to the website that you may want. We strongly believe that we’re not done designing your website until you’re 100% happy with it.
We make every optimization your website needs – speed, SEO and so on. We test your website across various browsers and devices to make sure it’s perfect. Lastly, we either deploy the website on your server, or you can talk to us about hosting it on our server.
We sure can! We offer standard, advanced and custom SEO marketing packages tailored to your business.

It depends.
It depends on what’s required, how quickly we receive content and feedback and how much lead time we have at the time of engaging.
That being said, in general, here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect in terms of a timeline:
The whole process for standard business websites can take as little as 4-6 weeks from commencement – but we’ll discuss timelines with you before any money changes hands.
Yes.
It doesn’t matter how efficient we code your site to be, if the host is lacking, it’ll be slow as molasses.
Think of hosting in the same way you think of your PC. All a server is, is a purpose built PC to store your website’s files and data. If it’s old and slow, and uses a slow internet connection, things are going to happen very slowly.
We offer only high performance web hosting to our clients – and it’s free for new small businesses!
We lead by example, with a 100 out of 100 score for page speed on Google’s PageSpeed Insights tool.
Most web design companies we see either don’t offer hosting, or offer a subpar service. We use top-tier cloud servers to provide you with lightning fast hosting.
See our hosting page for more details.
For most company sites we use a CMS (Content Management System) such as WordPress as a foundation to build our custom websites on. We do this because development with WordPress is generally faster, and easier to maintain. It also often makes it easier for our clients to make their own updates – which is commonly requested.
For custom functionality and proprietary systems, a CMS like WordPress just isn’t going to cut it. For larger companies and enterprises, the programming language and any frameworks we use are dependant on the project. We take the scope and use of the project into account when deciding what to build with.
We have a team of talented developers that can utilize all of the most current languages and frameworks. We have experience in planning, designing and developing custom webapps and mobile apps.
First of all, that’s not a question. Calm down.

The nice thing about web design is that you have plenty of companies to choose from.
We always try to give fair and reasonable pricing and have no problem talking about a budget with you. Web Design pricing can vary quite wildly, but we feel we offer a fair and balanced pricing structure for the local market.
Payment is typically handled as 50% upfront as a deposit, and 50% due at launch – which is pretty standard. We accept payment via debit/credit card, cheque, direct deposit and e-transfer.
We created an article about the cost of web design, and what you can expect to pay for when getting a new site for your business. You can check it out here.
